Bogota - Colombians have rejected the peace agreement between the Colombian government and FARC in a historic referendum that sought to put an end to 52 years of armed conflict.
According to information gathered by Fides, with counting completed from 99.80% of polling stations, the "No" vote led compared to the "Yes" vote , a trend that had already appeared in the middle of the count carried out by the National Registry of civil Status, an organ responsible for organizing the referendum.
International observers believe that the political position submitted by the group of former President Uribe prevailed, according to which the Havana agreements would have not only guaranteed impunity to the guerrillas, but would have also opened the doors of power to FARC, identified, against all historical truth, as the only source of all evil and violence for decades of war.
